honestly what makes me come back are the scenes the art style is so pretty ! i do hope that in time the writing progress to be what we all want, seems like Juhyeok is slowly starting to tolerate Su-ah better which i’m glad, it is just the pacing and repeated back-n-forths what makes it all frustrating. yet personally, i do kinda like the angst ngl. it’ll only make getting the desired ending we want all the more satisfying ! imo, i think it’s very unrealistic in terms of writing for ppl to think Juhyeok is just gonna switch up immediately after one night. yes, i absolutely agree his motivates are very morally wrong, especially towards Su-ah—but that only supports my claim that him opening up more and reciprocating these feelings will only take time. doesn’t make his actions okay, but it only makes sense knowing what we know. they both have their flaws. we unfortunately just have to face the facts, buckle up our seatbelts and prepare ourselves for the long ride.

Alright so, I get that Caesar’s crazy fucking actions is due to the way he grew up. The things he did to Lee-Won was the only way he knew how to possibly show his desire, “affection”, and twisted love for Lee-Won as Caesar didn’t have a normal childhood or consistent parental figures to raise him like an ordinary child would’ve. Like the guy’s father was literal mafia leader for crying out loud lmao. (Anyhow) Caesar always took desperate measures when Lee-Won would showed clear signs (OR WORDS... SHAAADDEE) of wanting to leave him because never in his life did he have someone as meaningful and special like Lee-Won before; but that NEVER-EVER made it okay. It’s common sense and always will be. When things like rape n what not kept happening, especiallyy in one of the very few last chapters where Caesar DRUGGED and hurt Lee-Won—once again! Goodness was iiii again reminded of how much I HATE this fucking guy dude. No matter how many good little occasional moments he had, or hopes in seeing growth while reading—that was AWAYS shattered with reminder how obviously toxic and manipulative he was. Yes, this is fiction and you can tell the author did a pretty darn good job at making a complex character when u find yourself hating said character yet indeed still understanding the reason behind their mindset; BUT as i’ve stated before, it-will-never-justify-ittt! Moving onnn, what I loved about Lee Won n some characters overall was their realistic reactions and thoughts to most things and events. Definitely. Lee-Won MOST of all, HE HAD CONSISTENT & NON-FALTERING LOGICC (dur he’s a lawyer, but nonetheless!) which i loved to see. He wasn’t one of those male leads where he went and EASILY forgave, forgot or NOT at LEAST question very alarming things and reasonably hurtful things! ESPECIALLY with Caesar. Sure I liked how it ended iggg…but I would not recommend this to a friend though cuz babe, mann oh MAN was I a little stressed out n traumatized to the repeated morally wrong patterns of Caesar. SIGGHHH! LOL.
