If you pull back and look at the big picture, it's sad to see how the Prince in Vio's first life acted. He's supposed to be the future King and yet he didn't even understand the family dynamics and drama of what happened in Vio's life. He merely sided with Mary because he was that love-struck towards her. A true King would consider all the circumstances behind someone's behavior, not be blinded by emotions. That's what added to the tragedy in Vio's past life. Let's hope the Prince gets his act together in round 2 (¬_¬)
This is also similar to the manga I was reading. The prince is so fucking stupid and so lovestruck, its so frustrating.

Super into this already. There's something about the art style, scene display, and mood that borders a horror, thriller manga....Which is why the constant juxtapose scenes of dark and intense with comical makes this strangely refreshing and addicting. Rooting for Hayame-san to get happiness in the end.
