No trauma slop, please. Good quality is preferable. Completed is also preferable.
Manga, manhwa, manhua, comics, novels... everything I am game for as long as it's not video. Something accessible for commutes/passing the time in public.
Safe for work.
Happiness and a good plot (with hopefully good art if its visual).

It has some mild nudity (like top off) art at the end of chapters, but I was laughing my ass off every time

If I based my perception of death rate from car collisions purely off of the historical fantasy manhwa genre, I would not trust car safety at all.
The manhwas also make it seem like once ur in a car collision, its instant death. I feel like if I was hit by a car like that, I would be cursed to a vegetative state or be completely paralyzed (i have bad luck).
I don't want to see "firstly" being used anymore ( `□´)(#゚Д゚)ノ
Everytime I read "firstly" in a manhwa my eyes roll back into my fucking skull. Such a petty weird thing for me to get hung on but it irritates me so much. WHY is "firstly" so prevelant in isekai translations. Just fucking say "first" or just STOP COUNTIGN !!!! Sometimes "firstly" is used and then there is no fucking "second" or "finally". Its just "firstly, (content)." And then no other fucking point !
STOP SAYING FIRSTLY OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD
I want to binge a bunch of good manhwa! I also hate stupid male leads that get the light of day by the main character. Give me your recs pleaseee im ok with not completed either if theres a substantial amount of episodes I can read.
The Makeup Remover - it's finished on Webtoon and the entire series can be read with ads but I think on here it's about halfway finished updating. There's hints to a romance but the characters don't actually get together! I really liked the ambiguous ending.
Surviving Romance - contrary to popular belief, it's not actually romance. It's by the same author as the one above and focuses almost entirely on the main character and her classmates!
I'm the Main Character's Little Sister - a story about a little sister trying to support the lives of her three older brothers who all seem to have three different problems going on. It's chaotic and a super fun read if you're into siblings being siblings. There's a few hints at guys liking Bobae but she either doesn't notice or she shuts them down.
It feels like the mass produced regression/isekai manhwas where quality in story doesn't seem to matter, have no care about character design at all. At least in the aspect of bringing the audience something interesting to look at as a piece of art. It feels like the only thing the artists (maybe the artists don't have a lot of control, so I guess the publisher team?) care about are handsome and beautiful characters that sparkle in the story. And then their bias of what is counted as beautiful/handsome comes in which becomes very problematic when it comes to traditional Korean values (very xenophobic!). Also the art in these manhwas seem to have some kind of aversion to old/aging people. Like I don't think drawing old people is that hard IMO ?? They are not just young people with long lines down their smile lines /forhead wrinkles. They make it seem like they put in absolutely no effort in the character design and no care into it whatsoever. Aging faces can be so beautiful like... Also I don't think I've seen any characters with a truly drak complexion in these stories. There are tan characters / lighter dark skin tones. And even then most of the time these characters with darker complexions typically get placed in the villain/psychopath/demon/devil archetypes. Colourism :^S. Most main characters are pale as printer paper skin tones which like, fine most of these stories are in these eurocentric fairytale settings but like THIS IS FICTION, WE DONT NEED IT TO BE LIKE THAT? IF WE HAVE DRAGONS, MAGIC AND SHIT LIKE THAT CANT WE HAVE SOME DIVERSITY AND SOME TRULY INTERESTING CHARACTER DESIGN? :^l where is the creativity.
Can someone help me find this manhwa? It's about a daughter of a noble family that doesn't want to get married so she creates hee "type" that is impossible to meet, but then her father is able to find her exact type, so she goes through marrrying him. Twist tho! The man is like dying his hair and eyes a different color to meet her requirements...
I forget the title ;0; would appreciate y'all's help!

It followed a trashy royal family consisting of a father, elder daughter, and younger son (all purple haired/eyed, important royal traits!). The daughter gets killed and then wakes up to when she was younger (somehow time travelled back in time after dying). After being reborn, she decides to change her brother's ways by disciplining her bratty brother to not squander away their money. She seems OK with being a villainess and dgaf about her shitty ass dad (but the dad obvi starts to realize his daughter is cool af and starts to regret being shitty).
I think the comic was published by Kakao entertainment? I feel like it was on daum before it got rebranded.
Maybe “crowning a spoiled prince”
Oh, it’s under a diff title here. “The second life of a scoundrel” Whoopsies my bad!
