I'm so glad someone said it. Pale hair/skin man equals esteemed noble duke and dark hair/skin is always their shady side business disguise. My brown skin should not represent secrets and crime in web the pons dammit help
I could give Tarkan a pass to some degree because he was melanated as a whole and loved the FL hard as can be even with his background being deemed as a “country full of barbarians”. But this is just rough to not feel some level of torn about
It actually hurts that we barely have ANY good representation. Like why can't we be regal non wild well put together high class nobles instead of free spirited, wild child, barbaric, evil characters. Like I don't care if those titles were misunderstandings why write in a dark skin character with those misunderstandings to begin with. Like the author obviously didn't give it much thought and it doesn't have a "deep" malicious mean, but still certainly we can have at least more characters like this who are dark skinned
After reading the spoilers I will be continuing reading this and power through the harem esc vibe. Only for the sake of the end. All I'm glad to hear is suho doesn't die and him and hajin stay friends and that's all that matters
