The death flags were there
“I wonder if father and the crown prince are doing okay.”
Mhm goodbye to them ig. Plus you got little prince psycho over there while your mom is pregnant messing around the med area. Shockerr. In fact the shock factor was there but only because I didn’t expect the plot to take them out one right after the other like damn.
Anyways after that the plot just kinda…gets lost? We had family fluff at the start but with political scheming which all gets tossed out the second the schemers are gone…logical enough. Except then we move on to wow! fl is sooo smart and introducing modern era concepts to us. Maybe I’m just a hater of this trope, but I think they just went overbearing with it. Sudden genre shift. ( ̄∇ ̄")
Kinda read on because I wanted to see the boy from the middle chapters again. Except just now at chapter SEVENTY SIX we see his sister instead. So now I’m predicting we don’t see him until his sister cures fl bc *then* the romance doesn’t read predatory asf ╥﹏╥
(Is it romance? I sensed romance)

I can appreciate that the manhwa portrays *both* MC and ML as having mental health issues, and there is a layer of realism even though it’s barely touched on. ((Family members giving up on you, the anger, etc.))
But holy are those siblings pmo. They were obviously close once upon a time, or at least cared for one another. I can see why we are where we are. But omfg, square up

lowkey, as someone who grew up in a similar house, their distance feels so realistic and was done well. when there's no parental figure (or a guide) looking out for you both, self-preservation just kicks in that you have to save yourself first. not out of malice, but pure instinct. you still care, just surviving. im just glad they're finally trying to make up AND get out of that place.
