The whole thing is an interesting concept. The art isn’t the greatest since it’s a little stiff, but it’s pretty and vibrant. The story concept is one I haven’t seen yet, so it’s a fun read! I thought it was going to be iffy at first with how it started, but there’s so much sweetness, given the mix of insecurity being met with a feeling of safety in a way I didn’t see coming!

It’s almost like you guys expect some depth to a smut manga. Yeah, depth and story are great. So are well written characters. And quite honestly as a writer and smut artist, it’s clear that the fl and ml each have traumas yet to fully be revealed. Growth yet to be discovered. There’s only a small handful of chapters out and it feels like some of you are expecting mountains of character growth right from the start.
Without spoiling anything in just gonna say, yeah the ml’s attitude is crappy and that’s one of the main points the fl keeps bringing up. It’s clearly supposed to be like that. NAND it’s already foreshadowing some depth of an altered perspective just from their encounter. Give it time and stop rushing. If his personality is your thing then go looking for some fairy tale princess smut or something idk

Some of the best dynamics are when a character starts off deeply unfavorable, super black flag, and then slowly evolves into the biggest loser-boy golden retriever you’ve ever seen. ugh, that's a 1000/10 trope for me.

That’s exactly what I’m saying! This isn’t total slop, the issues have been addressed already. The girl is already in the verge of snapping, I’m expecting her to snap back already. This read would be most rewarding if the fl actually sets standards and boundaries. I’m also hopeful since the guy has made an internal statement that it’s not like he has it in him to be any sort of violent with her.
