I hated Genshin Impact, I tried it for the first time in 2021 but it didn’t go well because I was too dumb, I guess? But later (2022) I made some friends and they had suggested me to download again, and I accepted it cause this time I had them to teach me the things I didn’t know back then. It was amazing, the exploration, the story, the characters, and of course, my account. :p
The only thing I hate in Genshin is HoYoverse and the artifact system. For a game that occupies half of your pc memory, sure is not that game that will change your life by giving you different points of view about certain matters, but is so nice the way you see your characters getting stronger. Anyway, you may install and see for yourself.

first things first know that genshin is a gacha game, and you can get addicted to it. i would play this very moderately. the game shouldn’t be giving you anxiety or stress. with that being said it’s an okay game. there are various aspects of the game you can fall in love with including but not limited to exploration, gacha system, building characters, and more. the game forces you to play all aspects of the game to get the best experience though. so someone like me who does not enjoy doing quests or exploring really hate it because that’s the major way of being able to play the gacha part of genshin. genshin’s system is very much tailored so the user returns every single day and maybe even twice a day. it is time-consuming and requires some grinding unless you really don’t mind taking it slow. imo genshin, because they’re the #1 game in their field of genre, is extremely stingy with their rewards. try playing another gacha game, and you will feel so much more free. hyv knows genshin makes money, and they have no competition. i suggest trying out different gacha games if you have the storage for that. i’m currently playing honkai star rail rn, and it’s different from genshin because it’s a turn-base game with minimal exploration. they’re also more rewarding to their users, and overall i’m more satisfied with them.

I really love and loved genshin, the only problem is that I played it on my phone and now it’s around 35 GB and I had to remove it ‘cause I don’t have that much space on my phone TT
It was just my favorite game and that’s sad
It’s a little bit difficult as a free player to get the best character but if you’re consistent in the game and play like 20 minutes at day you can build up a pretty good team. The story is very interesting and intriguing and the open world is the best part of the game since I love exploring and stuff.
Honkai star rail is another game by hoyoverse that I also like.
Another game that I like at the moment is identityV

To answered your other questions
No genshin isnt similar to the game in netkama punch. What you looking for is a MMORPG game while genshin is an open world rpg.

If you are looking for game that focuses more into interaction between player / teaming up / building guild then genshin might not be for you.

For most part genshin is a play alone game as some quest even ban teaming up and requires you to do solo.
