From the spoilers to this it is right to trust my intuitions that this srsly big no for me. Yeah, sure this story's backstory and how everything turns out (obvsly the plot) sure interesting but this purely disgusting to the toe in my feet up to my roots. I hate manipulation the most and this story is like a big plot of pure manipulations. And the invented word "face card is saving them" is word that explains all red flag stories.
