i LOVE midnight rain!! fortunately, i did go scavenging for some fics and found some in tiktok comments: Gotham is Burning (istayniche), meet me half-way (hellslibrary), and Padam Padam (frozenpotions). i’m currently only reading fics but i’ll definitely be searching for djs (▰˘◡˘▰)

since my list were pulverized im calling on the great manga recognition warriors for this
the mc helps the ml clean his very trashy apartment after receiving an eviction notice or warning from his landlord and then the mc offers to let ml stay at his place while they clean his apartment because the ml reminds mc of his brother who went through something similar…ml entered a depression state after he got fired by his shitty and very degrading boss when he told his boss to shut up when things got too heated.
