Am i the only that felt like they didnt really answer the questions? Or is that just me? No hate. I just am still lost on some of the answers they gave and wanna know if im the only dummy that just doesnt get what was said.

Lucy In The Sky August 9, 2019 6:27 am

I think Koogi honestly wanted to leave us with our own impressions of the story. That's why some of the "answers" aren't really clear because she wanted us to come up with our own conclusions. Because that my friends...is the genius behind a psychological thriller as good as this one ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ Koogi is totally a jokester...drawing bloody scenes is like drawing bread with jam? Okay, Sangwoo.

I am with you I am so lost on so many things.

I felt she answered all to the questions except for the "did sangwoo really love bum.?"The way I see it sangwoo was scarred by what his mom did to him which led him to become a killer. He particularly targeted women who looked like his mom to get revege on how powerless his mom madehim feel. The main reason he didnt initially kill bum was because he was a man, and he usually didn't kill men. The other reason was because he reminded him of his mom and he figured he could have some fun with him. So he dressed bum up as his mom. If you look throughout the whole series sangwoo always made bum and him recreate scenarios from his childhood. He put himself in a position of power over bum to once again bring power to himself because of how powerless his mom had made him feel. His mom raped him (which was fucking horrible) and this led sangwoo to have many conflicted sexual thoughts on his mom which he didnt want to have and i think thats the main reason he murdered. I do think he loved bum but in his own fucked up sociopath way. I say this cause there were moments where he would try to console bum but he was just too fucking gone to like actually love appropiately. Anyways I think this comic was amazing and a thriller and bum and sangwoo were such interesting characters. Also this is just my interpretation, sorry its long

I hate that he still calls him sunbae and not by his first name jiwon ☹ Arent they past the whole sign of respect for your senpai thing since there dating?
(And ik senpai is japanese, im just giving an example)

    Froste July 14, 2019 6:22 pm

So, part of it is still the respect aspect. The Korean culture in a way is more rigid than Japanese culture when it comes to respect (they have technically 9 different modes based on who you're talking to, but its mostly just three used in everyday language). But in the case of this story, he still calls him Sunbae because Jiwon kinda loses it and fucks him silly when he calls him Hyung. For the preservation of his anus, I can't imagine what would happen if he called him by his first name.

    ta-kun July 14, 2019 6:30 pm

as far as i know about korean culture lovers still retain honorifics like "hyung" or "noona" if the other is older. but we all know why dg chose to call alex sunbae rather than hyung (▰˘◡˘▰)

    bbang July 14, 2019 6:44 pm

He tried calling him Hyung... but remember what Happened to DG? He stopped calling him Hyung after that...

Ik hyung is out of the question lol, but jiwon is still a contender. I mean he calls him dong gyun. I dunna know it just seems so formal is all.

But isn’t it that you’re comfortable with that person? That you call them first name basis? Without -ssi (Ms. / Mr.) I think they are quite comfortable in a way? hehe

I loved this chapter. It gave insight on how people feel being gay and just being people with problems in their lives. And... i friggin love Xiaoyi!

I knew it was too good to be true. :/

I like how this manga realistically showed romance. Kyoya thought about what he had done to Yuzuru and he apologized. You rarely see that in mangas. The Seme is usually a dick to the Uke, and then after a while he feels bad and talks about how he wronged the Uke in his head or to a friend (usually in a bar lol) but never really apologizes TO the Uke. Which sucks and i hate so much. So i was super happy when Kyoya didnt do that here AND properly confessed and conveyed his feelings to Yuzuru. Also the writing in this was so crisp and clear and ofc really funny. Awesome job to whoever translated this.

The jellyfish scene was my favorite because it shows that he is saying that he will be his slave/servant /do anything for him because in Japanese mythology, jellyfish were the servants to the gods. I just loved this little detail, because if you grow up with this mythology you know he's now saying he'll put Yuzuru first, and do whatever it takes to take care of him, but I love this scene because I think it's a pivotal scene where we see Yuzuru start to really gain control.

Is this manga any good? Like does it have a substantial amount of smut?? Ik one of the tags is shounen ai so prolly not but is it like the mangka’s other works?

    FujoshiShoujo April 22, 2019 1:41 am

does it matter if it has smut or not, the story itself is pretty enjoyable, I think that alone would be suffice

    etiri April 22, 2019 7:50 am

    1. To me it does matter
