I legit can't take it anymore I wus ok w tae being an eternal bottom I've accepted he's lost his top rights but dear lord I really can't take how badly they handled bens character like overly promiscuous mages with tragic pasts have always been iffy to me bc I do sympathize with them but they made Ben such an awful person I legit cannot take any scene that has him without getting mad,, I feel bad for him I really do!! I just hate his characterization and it's such a damn shame he could've been an interesting character but no he just had to be a dick with a half assed complex personality that is always cock blocked and I'm actually thankful for that with how his character goes,,,,,, I would actually be more thankful if he was just straight up evil,,,

That what makes me like him tho. Instead of a silly character who's secretly a softie and got saved by the hero, his persona is really complex. He seemed much more dimensional with that mean remarks of his.
For once, the batshit crazy and hated by everyone reputation makes sense. And it's not just that he's mean. A lot of times he was spitting facts that everyone sugarcoat or walk on eggshell around. Not saying other characters are bad, but having him in the cast really makes the story interesting.
No comment on the hypersexual part tho lol just like with the main plot line
Hawwo made that comment on a manic episode and honestly I rlly like that take when u step back a bit, bc the story started off really cliche and I rooted for a single person I never took the time to appreciate the other characters depths and honestly, I still don't like Ben personally and I've accepted it as my preference but yeas his character makes for a really interesting story along w moving the plot in an although irritating way it's true to his nature and thinking about it kinda gives me whiplash bc of how much the story changed(along w the artstyle for some reason) and yeah idk why I complained Abt hypersexuality in a hardcore yaoi so my bad
