someone please tell me if the cardinal is actually a bad guy… i genuinely can’t tell. sometimes it feels like he is just doing the pope’s bidding to get more power, but he doesn’t necessarily wish for the worst outcome for shuri by giving her advice? and why is he whipping himself is it because he knows he is sinning but for the greater good?

I can tell the new team working on TBATE is really improving, the perspective and the characters are much more cohesive. But it’s still hard to keep up with the manhwa when the change from the old style is so jarring (/TДT)/
