For an ml, Rishar is surprisingly the least developed character in the cast. Bro’s one character trait is being so attached to Etienne that it quite often inconveniences him like??? I understand why people are annoyed by Rishar. Even the empress and the emperor had enough backstory and personality to be at least slightly compelling characters.
Hell, I’d even say Theodore and Antoine are more compelling than Rishar bc their interactions with Etienne had so much more nuance. Also, they both changed because of Etienne. Rishar is kinda static throughout the whole story. He just loves Etienne and that’s it
Idk, this is a story centered around Etienne and how his character development as an omega affects others. Maybe Rishar is just simply a driving force for Etienne’s story ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Usually I can’t stand the back and forth tsundere / misunderstanding bs but their thought processes are nuanced enough that I actually don’t mind too much.
I thought Yeonghan would’ve pissed me off by now but I like that we’re seeing him at least try to think through his feelings, as bad as he is at it. Don’t get me wrong, he’s really fucking stupid, but I think that many people have experienced what he’s going through in the story, not even just the internalized homophobia but the cognitive dissonance with his actions. He’s never had his thoughts and feelings challenged like this before, and I expect his response to be messy bc he’s fucking stupid. But I hope to see that this revelation shakes him to his core and changes him for the better in the end! I hope at least, idk I’m waiting for the officials lol
this! and you can't help but rooting for that dumbass he tries his best to develop some emotional intelligence
but it's so funny that he's not only a tsundere but exact classic anime 'it's not that I like you b-baka' version that makes it endearing for some reason
Yes!!! He’s trying!!! And we love that for him!!!
Also while I was reading, all I could think was “they remind me of bakudeku”
