from what i remember was that the main character lived a past life where something went wrong and some how went back in time to the start where it all started with people getting chosen all together. at once and tested. the side plot of the story was that he saved a girl started loving him in a possessive yandre way. Then kill someone to protect him. THats all remember.
This sounds like a mix of the plots from Regressor’s Instruction Manual and How to Live as a Villain. Could it be one of those?

Seme was a powerful s rank person and had guide who he "dislike" but in reality really liked him then he lost his memories and started acting out as his younger self and fell in love guide and would countinue have head and memories issue and it would affect their relationship
Also the Seme had black hair with red and black powers and the seme i think had light brown hair
