Damn volume 5 really hit close to home, I can't wait to see how Taichi handles this issue bc ngl if I were/was him I would've already left them and never looked back. Just because they love you doesn't mean they don't hurt you, it's better to just protect yourself.

Agreed. While my sperm donor loves playing "Best Dad Ever" on Facebook, I haven't spoken to him in 16 years. After years of childhood disappointment, manipulation, abuse, and abandonment I had to find my peace. By letting him go. He has chosen his life, now I choose mine. I know he will regret it eventually as his mortality gets closer. Sadly, I lost my mom and the man I call my Dad. Sometimes the family you choose is the best choice for you.
Overall if you're looking for a predictable mediocre story with decent art then this one's for you. But it has its rating for a reason, you can be predict the entire plot by the 20th chapter. Here's my guesses and I hope someone has the patience to prove me wrong
- The brother got addicted to the pirate medicine and needs to take it regularly to avoid the withdrawal symptoms
- The ml's mother was poisoned with the same poison as the fml
- the lawyer who works for the fml is the one who poisoned the fml and works for the same organization that poisoned fml and ml' mother
- the fml and ml get back together
Reply with more theories and maybe we'll have the entire plot before the 99th chapter!
On a personal note though, as an engineer the fml disappoints me in a way I didnt even know was possible, her "knowledge" is just a plot device, and although engineering isn't a personality trait it definitely influences how you tackle things and girlypop is not written well enough to showcase the wonders of engineering.
