I know a real ugly MC would have been harder to read / unpopular, but it's annoying how everyone keep saying she is ugly when she is drawn so cute, it forces me to imagine another uglier face every time but I can't...
I think the point is shes average and not actually that bad looking, but because of her own beliefs and trauma she thinks Shes hideous. Personally, i think she does look unremarkable compared to the other characters.
i think shes actually average, but when she was younger her face was always beaten up and her body was always so skeletal. thats why people are wondering why she thinks shes so hideous as shes an adult
