I graduated March 27, 2026 and I read this like months ago. So maybe late 2025 or early 2026. I stopped right before the last chapter as I had promised myself that I'll read it once Aoki reveals his score if he passed the exam and likewise. I did the entrance exam to a university here in our city on February 14 2026 and wow the dread that I felt because I was dying to know how'd it end up and know if we will both pass.

Unfortunately, my laziness got to me... The results were announced on March 30 (if I remember correctly) and forgot to read about the last chapter. Until now...
I'm just glad he got accepted. Reading the remaining chapters really brought a tear to my eye. Highschool was ahhh. It's not as fun and genuine as his story that's for sure but I got mine nonetheless. Damn I should've read the time capsule chapter 10 years later. Oh well I'll go back to the last chapter to honor that. And I promise I won't be late. By that time I'm sure I've forgotten most of the contents anyway. Well if I don't die by the time I turn 20.

Anyways change was one of my biggest fears. Still is. Change is just, very frightening for me. I wish time would have just stopped for a moment—during my teenage years. I viewed highschool as the golden era of life, influenced by multiple stories (really why was being a teenager the only thing media and stories only ever highlight as the golden era of life. Talk about treasure your youth just frightened and pressured me to death. Now it's slipping away :') huhu). I just hope that another timeline or era will surpass that so I won't have a reason to die early.

Lastly as this is taking so long,

thank you for the memories, it's making me reminisce my graduation when it was just basically a month back. Highschool stories like this are the best. Thank you Mr. Wataru Hinekure for the wonderful journey and thank you to Ms. Aruko for the finest details.
