This was such a hard read for me. ML was sh*t at least until they finally talked about the miscarriage FL had. I seldomly comment on manhwas even when they're good, but this one made me feel lots of emotions in a span of a few hours.
I bawled and cried my heart out before, during, and after the miscarriage. Before—because ML treated FL like sh*t despite knowing full well she was pregnant, and that he was unaware of the gravity of his own feelings and actions, thus neglecting FL. FL had to endure the miscommunication all on her own just because ML put his feelings first instead of working though their hardship as husband and wife. During—because all FL ever wanted was Bjorn. Yet he failed to be there for her. She suffered through that horrible experience and had to deal with the aftermath alone. After—because they were finally able to communicate and let themselves be at their weakest. They acknowledged what had to be acknowledged (esp Erna miscarrying and why the nursery room etc were cleared so fast).
It was such a heartbreaking experience as I, too, have witnessed people miscarrying at 8 months. Imagine being excited as an addition to the family will be born IN A MONTH or in few weeks' time, only for the child to d*e. There's nothing as hurtful as miscarrying, but moreso when it's only a month remaining for the unborn child to be born.
Probably 10/10 for its angst post-pregnancy, but a 4/10 atmost for the overall story since 1) her biological father was infuriating and 2) it was ridiculous for FL to still love the ML despite the pain and suffering he caused.
