It's a cartoon, who cares? Cartoons don't affect reality same way video games don't affect reality. If you're "affected" by it, chances are that's just an excuse and you've been having those thoughts for a while. It's just a cartoon. dont get me wrong i absolutely like harada and i don't get affected by fictionl rape ofc for the right reasons. however everyone should know the difference between a rape play and an actual rape in manga and yet some people automatically think that if it's in a story it's just some kind of fetish or "play". as someone who's sick like me i actually like forced and rough sex you see so if anything i'm able to understand why it's appealing and you have to be in a certain mindset to not actually care about the morality.

everyone knows that most of us read smut for the panels and not the story. the issue comes when you want both plot and sex which then results to mature rather than just smut. and i believe that most of those stories portray rape in a way where i can't like it. because it just doesn't work if you make the characters fuck every chapter for no actual reason at all. might as well been an anthology or a series of hentai rather than having plot and really sucking at executing it. and one more thing, some mangas aren't even developed and explicit enough to be considered smut and the story sucks so yeah i cant really enjoy that.

that's not the only reason why i question them, it's because people use the reason that "it's just a play" to counter and avoid constructive criticism when the rape isn't portrayed right and when it damages the potential of certain mangas that in most of the readers' opinions, could've been better. and as you can see, the portrayal of rape has changed the women of this century xD. sorry for typing this long i hope im being clear.

for anyone who thinks that im being a snowflake. here's my point, you can like rape in stories, but don't be a pussy and reason that it's because it's just a play and it's just a story. admit that you're a sick fucker xD

anyway, in all seriousness, what i mean to say is that rape in stories is okay when it's essentail for the plot and if it's hentai. im not very sensitive to that because im aware of what fiction is. however if it's just thrown in stories that aren't supposed to be hentai and used just to have a lot of sex scenes and as a means to make a senseless and stupid connection between characters, romanticizing it in the process. well, not everyone can enjoy that. and if you do, good for you but if i think it sucks and it's a bad use of rape as a plot device, that's how my opinion is gonna be and no "it's just fiction" excuse will change it. if a story sucks, it sucks (〜￣△￣)〜

These are complete 180 turns but I’d say they’re pretty unique and have a few plot twists?? also you should read sports manga if you like that whole “idk what’s gonna happen” type of feeling I guess
