im a day late and i haven't even completed the story cuz I was marinating it BUT IM CRYING ILL MISS THIS MANHWA SO MUCH I WANNA MARRY THE AUTHOR AND ALL THE CHARACTERS AND THE WHOLE STORY, IM PRAYING TO SEE MORE OF THEIR WORKS AFTER THEY GET THEIR WELL DESERVED REST. THIS MANHWA WILL BE MY #1 FOREVER AND EVER, NO MANHWA CAN TOP THIS!!!!!
sigh can't believe I've been reading this for 6 years straight
i seriously love this author so much, even a 5 chapters short story had so much emotional depth and oh how do I even begin on explaining how amazingly well written and complex every single character is, by this author, that is, including their previous work, love for sale, and this one.
There's just something about the characters that makes you feel seen and there's always some sort of moral through the character's growth and it's so interesting and never boring.
I just wanna open the author's brain and see the way they view the world cause im seriously in love with how well they portray human experience through their stories.
10/10 story, totally would recommend!!
A small easter egg was that the author of the drama 'memory' was "SamK" in the panel where the drama's script was shown and SamK is the author of the novel Payback lol. Istg i wanna kiss the author's brain for coming up with this amazing story. And fujoking's art has only improved in every story and they did an amazing job in the adaptation.

I LOVED SEEING HOW THE ART IMPROVED SO MUCH AND I LOVE EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER AND I LOVE HOW THEIR DYNAMIC IS LIKE BLACK CAT AND GOLDEN RETRIEVER DONE PERFECTLY AND THESE ARE MY SHAYLASS AND MY POOKIES AND OH HYUNJIN THE MAN YOU AREE UGH I LOVE HIS CHARACTER DESING SM TOO AND I JUST KNOW THE AUTHOR IS GONNA MAKE ANOTHER STORY FOR HYUNG CUZ HE FOUND SOMEONE IN THE EARLIER CHAPTERS AND IM SO EXCITED FOR THAT. EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER HAD PERSONALITY AND THE PLOT AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP WAS SO DARN CUTE OH MY BABIESSS.
The art is seriously soo good im gonna make an album for all the ss i took of them, most of them being of hyunjin lmao
So many authors need to take notes from this story, the way they're both there for each other, the way chanyoung is so emotionally expressive throughout the story and the way hyunjin let's him lean on him ugh i just can't get enough of it. Every single character is so mature as well gosh i love everything about this story. Everything is so perfectly well paced too.

I can't lie, i loved ho-in's relation with woojin, taesoo, hell even kyungman, than when he was with chunwoo. The story is realistic I'll give it that but I still hate chunwoo for hurting ho-in and even after that he was selfish and wanted to see meaner side of ho in and made him suffer with jealousy rather than bringing it up directly to him. I had a friend like Chunwoo, she regretted doing smth in her relationship but her boyfriend couldn't care less of it and was just happy being with her and loved her, but still she couldn't get over the fact that she did that and I had to console her a lot for it, so I really do get Chunwoo but at the same time I cant help but hate him. His character was bland for me, the only thing I liked about their relationship was maybe the sex scenes, it was alr, other than that their relationship felt too fast and too angsty and yeah i just didn't like it, more so cuz it had potential. Also, Chunwoo SA'd Taesoo was so fucking uncalled for?! As if Taesoo doesn't already have enough emotional baggage, gosh they did him real dirty. I get his relationship with him was messy or whatever but you can't justify sexually assaulting someone because they frustrated you. I really hate Chunwoo.
I wanted to see more of Taesoo and Woojin but atleast Woojin got his own story so that's something, also he's such a great wingman ugh i love him, ho in should've treated him better icll, he looked out sm for him. Sighhh whateverrrr.
