I love original doyoon ye so much, i dont normally cry for manhwas at all basically. I didn't even cry on MC's backstory but original doyoon ye backstory was so sad i was sobbing like genuinely crying that dumbass family bro. He wanted to live but he believed there was no purpose for him to, i was legit crying 10/10 would cry again ╥﹏╥
I dont understand the oldest brothers motives bro..his shits confusing
He's a child that feels talentless and inferior to his peers, disregarded by his grandfather, and obviously has had a toxic home life. For the first time in his life, he's realizing he's not all that. His entire worldview and understanding of himself has been undermined -- this is how we know it's fantasy since how often does this actually happen in real life lol
Now he's presented with this camp as an opportunity for to "discover new talents" and he wants to find something he's good at, like the others. They showed this in the flashback of the teacher as he's speaking to his parents and his facial expression in that moment.
The main character herself was pretty corrupt in her first life and this is just a child. At least from what i can tell, the author doesnt seem to believe children are inherently bad and is making room for him to become something more than what his parents have taught him to be.
At least that's what I'm getting out of this chapter and hoping for. I love to see character growth so maybe I'm just being optimistic.
