What I love Abt this story is that it is so complicated. From what I remember, (I haven't read it since season 2 finished so it can be a bit wrong) He is and isn't seoho, seoho's soul was fragmented into many pieces long ago. Min chan was technically his own person with his own soul, however, he was destined to die. (I think his soul was similar to seohos in a way and) ML's brother "revived" min chan by giving him a piece of seoho's shattered soul. His final goal was really to slowly destroy min chan's soul so that seoho's is the only one and therefore reborn. So far Min Chan hasn't remembered anything (or very little) of seoho's past. As far as I remember, Min Chan hasn't realized that he loves ML even though he does and ML is very confused because he does love Min Chan but isn't ready to fully see him as his own person and Min Chan keeps denying ML's feelings.
I'm about to reread it so I'll let you know if I was wrong abt anything and fix it!
