I spent **more than 9 months** building and improving my entire translation system. This isn’t just me sitting there copying someone else’s work and throwing it online. I built the system, I’m constantly improving it, and I’m currently working with **32 people**. And yes, that number is going to increase.
As for the price, I’m already charging **one of the lowest prices in the market**. The profit I personally make is actually very small compared to what you seem to think. A large part of what people pay goes back into the team, raw chapters, infrastructure, and keeping everything running.
You’re saying “people work for free,” and that’s fine. If a group has the money and time to buy raws, translate, clean, typeset, proofread, manage everything, and then release it for free, good for them. I’m not stopping them.
But you can’t seriously expect me to spend **9+ months of work, money, time, and resources**, build an entire system and maintain a team, and then magically provide everything for free because “that’s the whole point.”

I understand where you’re coming from, and I’m not here to argue with you. We’re not trying to claim ownership over anyone’s work, and we’re not forcing anyone to pay. The money goes toward the costs of running the project and the people working on it, not toward claiming the stories as ours.
As for the translation quality, you’re absolutely free to dislike it, but we’re genuinely putting a lot of work into improving it. We’re a growing team, and we’re still working on fixing things like SFX, pronouns, and typesetting.
Regarding Love Upset, we didn’t post it with the intention of disrespecting another group. If they’re already working on it, we can take that into consideration going forward.
You don’t have to like Fivetoon, but we’d rather improve based on actual feedback than turn this into a personal fight.
32 people doesn’t mean 32 translators ... We’re not using AI to replace the translation work. If you think the TL is bad, point out the actual mistakes and we’ll look into them. We’re always working to improve the quality.

Just to clear this up — yes, we use AI for things like banners and other minor stuff, and we’ve never had a problem admitting that. But the translation itself is not AI-generated. We have a team working on it bubble by bubble, with actual people translating, editing, and proofreading. Criticism is completely fine, but please don’t assume the entire project is AI just because our banner is.
