It's a really overdramatic series. Ml is a bratty, foul-mouthed person. Mc is a truly miserable and abused character. He suffered so so much in this novel.
Correction: Ok so their first time happened during Mc's 1st heat, not manifestation. There was another guy there trying to force Mc and Ml saves him only to be the one to force Mc using his pheromones. He also sometime threatens/badmouths Mc to try and control him. His main threat is hiding Mc's status as omega.
I'll skip some events and get to the juicy part. Mc's father discovers that Ml r*ped (yes that is the word they used and Ml admitted it too) him. It was non-consensual and both Mc and Ml knows and acknowledges this. Anyway, Mc's father announces this in a family dinner along with the Ml and Ml's parents. He humiliates him by stripping him and showing the marks Ml made (hickeys, etc.). He says that his son isn't a virgin anymore and that Ml should provide compensation because now his son is a rag and no one would want him. They were forced to get engaged.
The whole engagement is chaotic. They fight all the time, misunderstand each other, make up, become intimate. They have feelings for each other but don't know how to name it. Mc slowly opens up and becomes a bit more vulnerable while Ml falls harder and becomes less annoying. Mc actually has more freedom when he's with Ml vs when he's with his own family. His dad's and brother's abuse lessens as he spends less time with them until his brother decided to kidnap him and keep him in a warehouse/cabin. He first gropes him, sexually assaults him, and then finally r*pes him. Turns out that ever since the brother saw Mc, he has claimed him as his. It was very hard to read because Mc was fighting back so hard a⁷nd begging the brother the entire time to stop. Saying things like, "Please hyung look at me, I'm Woori. I'm your brother." But he doesn't listen and even taunts Mc. Mc escapes for a bit and as brother tries to catch him, Ml hits the brother with his car and rescues Mc. The whole time Mc was missing, he was looking for him. He was going crazy because he can't locate Mc for days and so he started to have suspicions on the brother and followed him.
It's discovered that Mc is pregnant with Ml's child and they use this as leverage against the father to cut him off. Reasoning that the brother's r*pe almost induced a miscarriage. The brother is in coma now and the father is more worried for him than the Mc. He even victim blames him, saying he seduced the brother. They cut him off and Ml finally mans up and becomes Mc's protector. He also regrets what he did. The whole r*pe thing doesn't get brought up much and instead it focused more on the Mc's strength and what he does next. Their engagement proceeds. The relationship becomes so dramatic and they almost broke up because of their miscommunication. In the end, they confess and Ml proposes to Mc properly.
Soooo unsatisfying. I didn't see any side stories too.

Why does most of the manwha's I'm currently reading has like 3 same chapters and is usually uploaded by Kaizen, desire and Myth toons scans, like why can't they just agree on who exactly can upload on one chapter not 3 different chapters but the same like whatttt??? (It's annoying)
The novel is reallly good for this. I totally recommend it . Cried my heart out for the top as much as bitch he is in the beginning
