I think the summary and beginning of the story kinda makes it seem that way, but imo I don’t think he liked her in a romantic way. I think he was extremely dependent and attached to her in a familial way. Usually I think we see such strong attachment in romantic contexts which is why it may seem that way. Yuri got a lot of issues but I don’t think incest is one of them
