I stopped reading this a year ago and glad I did because that ending is terrible. At least keep her dead, he’s finally on his deathbed, and they reunite in heaven or some shit! The story itself was hard to get through, though I liked the characters, but this ending just made it so much worse.. so sad.
Am I the only one who agrees with the Grandpa decision? As someone who works in the medical field as a caretaker for people/families, you witness firsthand how big of a toll, physically and mentally, it puts on the family members. Especially when it’s a terminally illness. It’s not easy and I believe he made the best decision. Not the greatest but it better than having to put your wife and son through trauma and hardship all because you’re sick (not by choice). With that being said, I wishfully hope that he can be forgiven and be a somewhat recurring character, at least in the background.
I can’t believe it’s over MY SHAAAYLAAAAA on a serious note, I’m so glad I decided ti pick this up (thanks to the anime). Such a bittersweet ending for Immo and I was not expecting a full circle moment at the end. Now I wonder what his next adventure will be.. oh well. This manga really brought a lot of tears out me and forever hold a special place. Hope the mangaka takes a long break cause they absolutely deserve it.
This current arc (future wrld i guess?) has a good premise and set up but the execution is terrible. It feels rushed and random. It started off good but my god has there’s been many missed opportunities to dive into other things like how the knockers pretty much took control of the world and how the main gang been surviving from modern to now. Im going to keep reading since im in too deep already and love the first season of the anime but lord… please give me strength.

Just when I thought of losing hope… they’re back
