All retrieved stories were dumped into your "Already read" list, you have to manually re-add them back where they were pre-crash. You can start rebuilding your lists now.

Not really
Main character is just the protagonist of they story, story is mostly from their point of view, the mc can be any position and so can the male lead ^^ Mc&ML are just the characters roles in the story
