I wouldn’t call an author a GENIUS for being able to develop obstacles in a nascent relationship and definitely not for keeping a story consensual. And while do feel that Dae and his friend were properly made characters Jin and the problem starter ahre ah bit underdeveloped yk?.
I don’t mean any hate to the author or to the story I never really took it seriously anyway, it’s cute enough to check on once in a while but calling the author a genius for something so trivial and easy, are our standards in hell?
Maybe not a genius, I’m sure it’s more than just people really liking this specific author for the 90s theme, open enthusiastic MC, likable characters, or just liking this couple overall rather than giving a strong emphasis on “genius”. You don’t have to agree with them, but this author definitely handles conflict and wraps them up better and quicker than most manhwas that drag out simple misunderstandings through seasons.
Dude, I need to stop commenting bs. I like the story and the author a lot for those same reasons. I just kinda saw the editor’s comment about the rare con author in the industry, but now I kinda get it because of all the inspirations and general desensitization, and ig I kinda used that to state my own criticisms. Never meant any hate tho, sorry.
I actually felt relieved after this drop of lore i'm glad that Minchan turned out to have nothing to do with Seoho from the beginning it’s a relief that he isn’t getting some bs character development where he becomes more like Seoho by mastering his skills or sm, or accepts being Seoho/ his reincarnation
Bihwan said he smells Seoho soul from Minchan so I do think Minchan has a fragment of Seoho's soul, and coincidentally, he has the same appearance of Seoho... what the villain-boy is saying might be that he doesn't want Minchan, a half-assed fragment of Seoho, but bring back Seoho's complete soul in an indestructible body so he'll never lose him again. Or I might be wrong
I completely understand the author wanting to continue the story for whatever reason, but I can’t help but feel disappointed that this isn’t the complete ending. From the very beginning, this story was developed and introduced as a short story having kinda racy character, and relationship development. The ending was misleading it felt crafted to send a message to the audience that the story would continue beyond our view just for it to end on a “end of season 1” note.
I was so excited to recommend this manhwa to everyone n their mamas, proudly presenting it as an example of a well written short story with aesthetics that kinda match me yk. It’s just frustrating and sad because I know that if I don’t drop it now, I’m going to start hating the story. N honestly it feels like it’s going nowhere from here.
It feels like those movies/shows that get an unnecessary sequel that just ruins the characters n the story(cough cough DreamWorks)
Don’t mind the horrid grammar

Dude I Jst know the red m&m original did some kind of witchery on Dajeong to keep him around, I can Feel the negative energy
