If my partner did the same thing as Garam I would cry. Like imagine you put 100% to your relationship and always put effort in and your partner is not so passionate and shows you only like half the love you do to him. I know Garam has a trauma and is cautious about opening up and showing his emotions but I would feel so insecure in the relationship. Like imagine you finally hear him say he likes you after a long wait and than he goes and tosses your gift that signalises commitment to the side and says what Garam did. What is more he knew that you put a big significance into events and still didn't even bother to text him "hey so my bd is this week can we have dinner together? I Or we could plan something!". I was always on Garams side in this story but I think he fucked up this time and should be the one to put effort in to mend it.
