I’m so confused with the story

Ok SPOILERS AHEAD…










Ok so apparently maybe the game is real? The grand dukes are fallen leaders of their kingdoms, and the world or guides reached out to earth for people to help save their world against an evil foe (the big giant with the fingies), that’s what I’m getting, and the dungeon is there to serve as trials of training before they face the big bad?? The last part I’m a very unsure of. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong.

And i guess the dukes are that way because the guides revived them or something or they are cursed? Something like that maybe???

So the grand dukes were the kings of their respective original world that was devoured by the monster. So the kings/grand dukes like Luhak, Isis, Monster mommy (forgot her name) are technically dead and were resurrected by the guides of this “game” due to their strong hatred and desire for vengeance against this monster that destroyed their world.

The retainers of Behia were also originally from the same world that Luhak was the king of. And from my understanding, each empire represented a separate/different world that were all devoured by the monster so for example: Isis was the king of his own world that only had his kind, Monster mommy came from her own world that only had her kind and she was the ruler of, so on and so forth.

In the novel it also reinforced this idea that the different empires/races came from different worlds cus it mentioned how the Behia celestials once believed “they were the pinnacle (of power)” but realized they were just a puddle in the vast ocean once they were resurrected into this “game” and encountered other races outside of theirs and realized they were one of the weakest and faced humiliation from invasions from other empires.

Cont. so now they’re advancing the final levels of the tower (lv 90-99) where they have kinda mock battles against the monster in a selected “original world” simulation.

In the latest chapter, the first “original world” that is being simulated for the mock battle is the original world that Luhak and the rest of the Behia celestials came from. So essentially it’s like them going into a Time Machine and stepping into their world before it was destroyed by the monster and that’s why they’re familiar with the territory/neighborhoods of the world.

Oh and didn’t the comic cover that earth is on the monster’s hit list?

Yup if they don’t defeat the monster this time in battle I think once they reach level 100 of the tower, the monster will go on to devour Earth.
