At first, I didn't like Hyeon all that much, and then I began easing up to him... And then I hated him again... But in the end, I like him again. This story was genuinely beautiful... I understand why some might not like it, but Siyeon and Hyeon developed so well throughout the story, it's utterly amazing. I was hesitant to read this at first because of the bad reviews.... But I'm glad I read it.

You're probably right on that part. Usually, in this kind of plots there would be twists and turns, then the moral of the story. Also, from the very beginning he was told to “only trust the sheeps/lambs” in which he didn't and got attached to the beast. Maybe the metaphor was, he's a sheep that got attached to the wrong kind.
