Unfortunately this was after Jiwook went to court for raping Jooyeon, which he was only given community service for. Poor guy wasn’t able to use his chaebol powers to have the book thrown at him because he didn’t have ‘em yet. He’s been receiving financial support from his father, but not to seek legal justice…he’s just sending the money to the gangster he’s colluding with for revenge. It would’ve been a lot smarter if one of them had just said “fuck it” and gotten the authorities involved either in the past or in the present, but then the story would be much shorter LMFAO
