It reminded me of Dooshik. I don't know if you read Pearl Boy, but I really remember him for being a very protective and understanding Top in that stuff. I mean, besides beating the crap out of the protagonist's abusers, he also provides him with moments of comfort and talks, because he sees him as his beloved and as a person.
