I get why some find Hye-Sung annoying, I do too. Honestly, I reread the series and I feel sorry for him, how he grew up with no affection. So, does he just not know how to show his affection for Dojin? Byul is still best boy!!!
That’s what I’ve been saying but the people I’ve discussed it with, aka Dojin apologists, don’t want to understand that. They keep hating on him because he can act normal with others but not with Dojin while completely ignoring that the others are not Hyesung’s partners. Hyesung literally grew up not knowing what healthy ROMANTIC affection in a COUPLE is. He has essentially no idea what a “normal” love between lovers is because he grew up in a toxic environment where his dad only ever abused both he and his mom. He still tries his best in however way he can, even if it’s not the most affectionate. But according to Dojin apologists none of this is true and childhood trauma, especially abuse, lack of affection and abandonment, have no effect on a persons personality or disposition for affection.
I get it. I'm not crazy for Hye-Sung either but he is the way he is because of everything. And i think Dojin also gets him, so there is some understanding between the two which makes their relationship a bit sweeter. I also have a feeling this universes Dojin is making up for that jerk in the authors other manhwa. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
ikr he deserves everything. the way people find him annoying dont understand him at all. he is literally forced to be with dojin. imagine your life taken from you that's so heartbreaking
