Felt my heart drop to my ass when hyeondo said the sermon wasn't half bad
Boi I tried giving this a chance but why am I on ch 9 and come to find out that man he was kissing in higschool is his brother.
kaizen and myth bots need to stop cus no one's asking to read straight hieroglyphics off the bat. Not even two chapters of interpretable human translation before the clankers arrive
So nobody else peeped yeonji's sexy tattoo on her nape, I guess i'll have her for myself
Imo johnny didn't do nothing wrong, a man needs to get by somehow #youngho activities
Oh my days why are all of our birthdays the 15th of April
There's a lot of talk of the mc is this... and the ml is that..., but for me I like them both as characters and think the reason for why they both act the way they do is telling. Mischaracterizing the two of them as annoying or frustrating is holding you back from enjoying the story and it's depth. The way i see it is that the two of them both come from wealthy dynamic housholds but the take on their dicotomy and differences in dynamic is supposed to fufill the reader in the sense that these dynamics can consecutively be challanged and accepted. The uke imo is ignorant but not spoiled, you can see it in the way he interacts with the ml as he is very accepting of his situation towards play. Durring ch 2 the mc response to the ml is an a obnoxious way at signaling that he doesnt nessecarly value the ml's research as he himself is a dom who doesnt think of supressing his dynamics. He admits he's never once had a problem embracing his dynamic but later on he see's his fault as he has the privellege not to think of those choices while other subs and doms respectably might want to. This makes me think he does not think of his dom trait as his command over others like most doms do bcs he himself dislikes doms who are selfish and think of only their own satifaction resulting in onesided play. Not to mention the mc thinking the ml was a dom in ch1 meant dynamics very well could've been an after thought to him. It seems to me that he likes koichiru for who he is rather than for his dynamic and just wanted him as a partner probably considering substituting his play needs elsewhere after marriage. Yes, I think he is used to being in control so it comes natrual to him to have bratty outburst from time to time but I overall think he's accepting of ml bcs he knows everything won't always go his way; he's just swooning over koichoru hoping oneday he'll open his heart to him. Even rn, he's supressing his dynamics bcs eventhough he loves the partner koichirou can be to him he also loves and instictively desires his sub trait making him want to do play. To me i think that the ease and laid backness of mc dynamic family made it easier for him to accept dynamics as well as partners being someone you can play and find releif of your dynamic through. It's idealistic and romantic yeah but thats his reality while for ml its the opopsite. I think in the ml's case he had to face the harsh tune of the world much quicker not bcs he grew up struggling with his dynamic persay but moreso the implication of what his dynamic had on him and his family. While uke's family is laidback his was domineering, they pushed the societal expectations of what a dynamic relatioship was meant to be so much so he ended up rejecting it after seeing what became of his brother and him. The traumatic experience of being commanded against his will makes him reject his sub nature and turn to research as a way to see the promise he made to his brother through. But after meeting manami he's swayed, he loves him despite the dynamics but he knows if he choses to be with him at somepoint they will more or less be confined to them. Thats why i think i loved the scene where manami says to him " should I make you fall in love with me till the rain stops?" because in that entire seqeuence it was as if the world stopped, there was no dom or sub to adhere to, there wasn't any societal weight instructing them to play or not to play, there wasn't any family to breathe down their neck to tell them "it should be this way." Instead just pure love, two individuals that wanted to keep loving each other till the rain stopped.
Other yaoi's need to look and imilate bcs this is what I want to see
I wonder if he has autism bcs I also eat the same sets of foods and sit in same seats. I think it's common autistic behavior
boi im stressed the fuck out for hima rn, and for all them bitches from the capital......"first off, fuck your bitch and the clique you claim westside when we ride come equipped with game". I really only care for hima and than including all the other villagers, I hope than not recongizing hima in the first ch isn't a product of something happening to hima durring the esper pillage leading him to think hima is dead and shin hwagjin is his twin. I feel like it would be way better if the truth ab hima being one of the "mutts" is revealed when the capital ppl inventually invade the village and in order to protect the village he puts on a facade then than decides he's not the "hima" he once knew. I don't want this to become misunderstanding the manga where the two main characters never talk and fix shi till the end.
