in truth she is their kid. its just that when her mother gave birth to her she was dying, and she wanted to save her mother in the womb and healed her (though cuz it was limited it only made her mother live just a few days until she passed). but cuz it took so much magic, it drained her all out and her hair faded to white.

i like how the story is progressing so far, i think it's more of a translation issue (since the original names are in chinese, then translated to the literal ones).
overall, it's a good read so far! waiting for the next chapters
