Why do this big plan and not have the dragon bite his head off in the throne room. The king doesn't have the dagger so he can't take the girl hostage, the village is beyond his reach, the soldiers hate him, the staff hate him, and the nobles aren't fighters and would probably be busy running away from the dragon. The only problem is if the scarface guy is there and he does something.

This author knows nothing about what a small town in England looks like. Pubs and bars rarely look like in in the city never mind a small town, the gangs don't look like that here either. Maybe in the 80s they wore suits but not now and isn't this set in modern day? The buildings look like a small stereotypical American town you see in movies. Sorry this is pointless but it kinda drop kicked me out of the story
lmao the author def uses whatever 3D assets her publications offers her, she probably doesn’t have time or money to be able to try to put in enough effort to draw out a proper england setting. not to say ur invalid bc i totally get what u mean, but im assuming england is a temporary setting and not a main-stay location. so in her head she probably doesn’t doesn’t think it’s a priority as long as it looks vaguely england
tbh, i felt this way when she drew yujin’s lifestyle. after the author dragged out how yujin was poor and lived on dirty streets that aaron could barely walked through, and showed us his dingy tiny apartment that actually looked like the damn american nyc dream hotel for a hipster, i already knew the author didnt know tf she was talking about . like those dirty streets she drew was the normal street of any mildly urban area. she just drew my college town, if anything.
Like I am being so silly clutching my pearls and crying about "my immersion" but it distracted me from how fine he looked standing up to the bar guy and that is a crime in my eyes
The weird and gross client scenes feel like unnecessary padding and it's killing the pacing. It's also repetitive, we've seen the work he does and how shitty his clients are it doesn't need to be shown to us multiple times we get it. His life sucks and he's in a bad situation we get it ffs

This didn't hit for me and I'm trying to figure out exactly why. I loved the one with the puppy so I'm kinda surprised how flat this felt.
If they wanted to make it so there is a cat person who has a stereotypical cat personality then I think it'd have been more fun to go with a lunatic orange cat rather than the cautious but soft once they trust you black cat.
I don't understand why this plot development was needed it doesn't add anything interesting, it's so boring at this point and it's not even hot. I keep having to marinate everything just in case I need to skip this kind of shitty arc and it's getting annoying. Why do authors keep doing this? It was so promising too, the first season was great.
