Not only does this have good characters that I love it's a full on dilf paradise at times.

The woman showing in the subspace is not Lena. She's the first user of the subspace in imperial family. But due to some circumstances, she became corrupted by Orfeo and using her as a vessel to manifest itself in their world.

Mind controlling someone into carrying out a mass casualty terrorist attack is super brutal. She's such an interesting character. Usually brutal characters are only brutal and nothing else but she isn't like that so it's fun to read.

I don't think rooting for is the right phrasing there are many characters I enjoy reading or watching that I'd find horrifying in real life. Like the arm collecting main character from nano machine or hell even someone like sukuna. I'm not hoping for their success but I have a good time reading about them.
