Did you read all the available chapters? I wouldn't say it's predictable GeminiNightmare922
i was maybe 10-20 chapters in, i very much disliked the MC being in denial for the obvious male lead. ML also has little to no charm, i cant get behind his affection for her just bc she saved him as a kid. And her ambitions about avoiding her death by not trying to go to the royal family the whole time just gets denied with the director(?) saying that she should just do it for him or smth like that. I was just baffled with how they came up with this reasoning. It was clear that she would go there eventually for the story but for her to just accept it just bc he said so even though her Nr. 1 goal was to live a quiet life is just a slap in the face.
Also id like to add that i dont expect like a masterpiece of a writing with this kind of manga, i usually love this kind of trash but sometimes its just not good.

Totally fair if the story ends up not being for you, but maybe try reading a bit further? There's something that gets revealed that made it interesting- to me at least.

If you’re ok with me spoiling the twist I can, you may be pleasantly surprised. For the record I thought it was predictable but it’s not entirely, I’d say it’s quiet refreshing actually

Yay! And if your don’t like it after, no worries, not every story fits everyone’s bill and I’ve had moments where even after returning to a story it still didn’t meet my expectations. But I’ve had the apposite too.
Spoiler:
Basically the ml Gideon is actually the crown prince. He reversed time to save the fl but in doing so, he swapped bodies with the saintess’s childhood friend. Him stabbing her was actually a part of the ritual to reverse time as one of the conditions of the ritual was to impale the one you love the most though the heart. He actually stabs himself right after, which she remembers and they die and go back in time together. The fl wasn’t supposed to remember her memories but because of her protective amulet gifted my her grandfather, her memories returned with her. So now the fl, the crown prince, and Gideon are the ones with the memories of their past life. The antagonists are the childhood friend (the original Gideon who’s in the crown prince’s body), and the evil saintess Lila.
Thank you translator team for picking this up and taking you time to translate it!
So about out (hopefully) Uke. I really like his personality till now, he doesn’t fuck around and his actions are very human and believe able. Big Props to the author, can’t wait to see their relationship develop.
Boring and predictable, no charm
