I managed to read it all, which several people below didn't manage to do.

I get it, the writing and characters aren't the best. The amount of flashback backstories is almost unbearable.

But the setting and easter eggs are great. Like underneath Yoojins story, there is a fully fleshed out horror mystery story.

Like the subtle and not so suttle hints scattered throughout the story are great. The Twin Detectives being the horror story main characters and their subplot. The thousand little details that only make sense after you read the whole story.

The author clearly had a deep and interconnected story in mind. But tripped on the execution.

●Summary●
An eldritch horror nicknamed the Silver Dragon wishes to create a horrors novel based off himself. Twin Detectives investigate the Rose Ivy Disperenses and eventually get involved with the Moorse Family. The Silver Dragons main puppets in order to make this happen are OG Rose and the Alter. Rose gets possessed by Yoojin, a moden Rom-Fam reader. Yoojin, is unaffected by suggestion magic and horror cliche, throws off the horror story and make the silver dragon bored.

●Unsolved●
-Who wrote black letter
-Who hired the staff
-Who summoned Yoojin
-The missing Pages of "the Old Gods"
-The creater of the Mental Resistance Amulet
-Who is Mrs. Jirkens

It was all most likely done by the OG Rose. The OG Rose was a souless puppet of the Silver Dragon meant to set up his twisted horror story. Who probably wasn't as soulless as the dragon thought.

In order to mess up the Silver dragon story that ends with her being a meaningless sacrifice. She writes the black letters, creates the Amulet, and summons Silver dragons greatest foe, "modern fan-rom reader".

There is some evidence. Such as the ending scene, the fact the servents stop being replaced, the writer knows the story setup such as Moores, that Jirkens doesn't ever appear, the amulet and empty ink container appearing in Roses study at chapter 1 or 2, Madam Jaur and Yoojin was purposely left in the dark, and the silver dragons weird off hand remark about the OG Rose.

I love how ur calling it a dragon when it’s only a headcannon via rose lol. Ya i enjoyed the story enough to re read it. The execution isn’t bad but def could be better, and the story could have been more fleshed out.

Also, another unsolved thing is what rule 16 is.

Well it is a eldritch horror. Any name or discription will be wrong, might as well go with what the MC calls it.

Yeah I forgot the re-add 16ths rule. This used to be 3 to 4 times the length, but I cut it down and must have accidentally removed it.

I went into how I think 16th rule was "visit Rose when you start you start hearing voices". As all other ways to maintain sanity is in the rule lost except this, and OG Rose removed it last second to maintain her plan and not contridict the employer rule. But I took it out do to lack of evidence and how long the original post already was.

lol I would of read it cuz I also go on long rants.

I wonder if mc truly thinks the guy was a dragon even after that conversation.

Maybe the 16th rule had to do with the door? Since all the servants were stuffed in there and the rule book was for the servants.

TLDR: This story is a cliché mess with a subpar setting. Fun for an afternoon read in which you can turn off your brain. I will go on to rant for way to long about that subpar setting.

RANT:
I get the author is Japanese, but this is still quite out of touch.

I'm not a pessimist but 21st century has not been peaceful. It been peaceful in Japan and WW3 hasn't started. But thats the extent you could call this a era peaceful. Not the mention complaining about peace when almost every major power in the world has been building militaries for the last decade preparing to be "war ready", is incredibly naive. That includes Japan who has been pouring billion into their military capabilities.

Like the god like entity list aging population as the first problem the world needs to solve in order to stop the worlds destruction. Then list just make more babies as the solution!!! Right after claiming that they will kill 50% of the world through global war!!!

Not to mention aging population is very first world issue, the actual world population is still increasing.

Then there is Climate change, which the author doesn't even try to give a solution. Just said "be wise about it". Wow what an amazing solution, how did none of us come up with it.

Note, these are the only 2 reason given why the world will come to an end in 20 years. Then it claims that a global magic war will somehow stop the world from ending, because "technology".

Like seriously, war which is known to wreck havak on the youth population and the economy, will somehow fix the economic problems caused by an aging population.

And yes, war and the environment. Two words that go hand and hand. Climate Change will be solved through war technology and being wise. Let's look into Pacific theaters and sino-japanese wars affect on the climate for an example on how to accomplish this, they surely did wonders for the environment and climate.

Ironically while insane, its less insane than population thing. Devcom and nasa are surprisingly Climate conscious with several programs, grants, and scholarship meant to combat climate change. Though you can probably guess the reasons why they have these programs.

Not to mention the fact that the survey that decided the fate of the world was done through email! Something that only 60% of the world even have access to. It was even mentioned that those who didn't do the survey, would have horrible things happen to them. Like 40% of people will have to suffer because they live in a place without access to internet.

Rant over, I know I'm complaining about setting that probably had very little thought put into it, and is only meant to enjoy, but I'm a kill joy and find the tone of the puppet master demeaning.
