I'm lowkey so peeved how the story ended I'm so sorry I led you guys astray. But maybe it'll be some of your guy's cup of tea idk. I reread the parts to write a summary and it just made me so mad omg.. I really thought the author was cooking but in the end it seems it was only I in the kitchen

Read previous write ups if you want more context. I don't really wanna reread the excellent lead up just to know it ends in a dumpster fire so I'm just gonna give the ending here:
Keitha decides to stay with Seyard in the LAST CHAPTER. After her and Gale's second grand escape attempt there is a big earthquake and Keitha freaks out thinking Seyard went into the concert hall when trying to follow her decoys which collapses. He didn't and actually "let her go" and Keitha is like wow he's a changed man ily EVEN THO LITERALLY A FEW CHAPTERS EARLIER SHE WAS SAYING STUFF LIKE "it might be comfortable to give up entirely, but that feels like losing myself forever" and that he was "a man who claimed to love Keitha but would break her will to have his way". Seyard does compare himself to Princess Arta and sees that she's disgusting and they may be more similar than he realizes but literally that's it??????? He barely has any character growth (at least in my perspective this summary is biased as hell yall sorry). There's side stories but I am not reading them cause they're still together.
Now Featuring: me malding over the ending
Like ok he "let's" you escape but he should've done that in the first place??? Like I'm an advocate for ppl changing or whatever but he needs mental help not a relationship with a kid on the way!!!! Keitha my girl what happened like it would've been such a good dissection of obsession and dealing with grief after someone who you loved who treated you badly passes away but whatever. And all the stuff i praised the story for just goes kaput too. I pray to God the manwha changes the ending but I highly doubt that. Also like screw Gale ig?? Like what happens to my guy he does so much and hes actually genuinely nice and gives Keitha real choices not to manipulate her?? Normally I don't root for the second ml or whatever in these stories cause I can figure out who's endgame but I just can't believe she stays with Seyard. Wtf happened to "If You Wish to Keep Me"? Like girl no one should be keeping you I thought that was the arc you were going on. Anyways whatever so sorry I hyped this up but maybe it'll be some ppls cup of tea if you like the toxic lovers thing

I have yet to come across a realistic novel, where two people can actually go seperate ways in the end. I swear authors come up with the dumbest shit so the MCs will end up together, no matter what.
I'm glad that most of the time that doesn't apply to the real world. But I cant help but wonder what these hundreds of toxic love stories with the same disappointing endings teaches young women.

I'm trying to remember a manga that I once read that was like a straight romance and ended pretty awfully. It was wholesome and I think that guy mightve been famous and the girl was a childcare worker? What i really remember is the ending cause it was out of nowhere. The ml suddenly gets really angry beats up a guy in a bar? Bathroom? and goes to jail and I think they break up and there is a time skip where they get back together and then it ends. Does anyone have any idea what I might be talking about
Lowkey had to force myself through the beginning of this as the premise felt kind of incel-y. Like the fl can reject someone and shouldn't be expected to completely agree with a guy who murdered people "for her". I think her reaction at the time was justified if a bit too overbearing. Ofc the perspective on Diana changes as you find out more of her character but I just didn't really love how Hestia at the beginning was constantly trashing on Diana for rejecting him . Like sure he gave her gifts and went on dates with her but girl is allowed to reject him. ik he continues attempting suicide and such but if we're being honest here they should've given him serious mental help and I don't think the two of them apologizing would've done much help as he'd still be dependent on their approval (as shown in the manwha he learns to value himself over others). HOWEVER!!! the story gets better and makes more sense as you go ofc

I think it was more about her using him instead of treating him as an actual friend. She was not really mad that the main couple got together she is mad that they abandoned him as if he was trash.
This! They also heard about his multiple suicide attempts and made no effort to reach out to their friend and help.
