Based on the novel, kinda cliche really. The author uses popular tropes. Maybe that's also why we like it cuz it's popular for a reason (people like certain tropes like enemies to lovers), but kinda overused at some point. After reading and knowing the spoilers and timeline ok the novel, i could say this was like a Wattpad kinda story...? The art and smut was good too but they really just focus more on the misunderstandings and miscommunications rather than the smut. What i hated was the constant time skips and the deus ex machina (you'll know what i mean when you read it). Seggs scenes on the novel was hot. This was not a unique story (except the detailed tennis). The manhwa art is what's making me marinate and read it. I think we'd be finished 2 years later (3, if hiatus happens).

They'll have their "first" seggs weeks after that. Jiyu was invited to go with the fam to their annual summer vacation in france. This arc was really sweet BUT when the summer or vacation ended they were back to "square one" where miscommunications happened. I think after this arc the time skip happened and then they we're in college (idk what year maybe 4th?) and their seggs was really being treated as transactional.

Am i the only one who was saddened by how it ended and how we didn't have any proper closure for everything??? What happened to stacy?? What happened to Andrew's past and how did he sustain his expenses?? What about Andrew's family?? Also, I thought Luke was disowned so why is he at his family's house at the end chapter?? Why did they continue to hide their relationship especially to Luke's friends?? They didn't even address the written contract of 2 months eviction of luke, it would've been funny or better if andrew tore it. AGAIN, HOW TF WAS ANDREW'S ISSUE SOLVED?? OMG IM GONNA GO CRAZY.

I just don't get the sudden obsession? Maybe it really was his thinking about "She's different. No one had the audacity to approach me and act like that before. She doesn't need money, she has a family, she's secure. To be able to control her, i need to find (or create) a weakness." And that's it. It's not even strong enough to convince me that's the reason why he's so obsessed and went out of his way just to have her. It's a contradiction to his behavior and attitude to the FL from the first chapters. Like, why "her"? was is truly just because she was asking for your body and your usual way of settling a problem didn't work?
I was also WONDERING ALL THIS TIMEE he just suddenly has an obsession with her? While denying the chance to sleep with her? I thought maybe he did want her but wanted her more “ripe and spicy??” So confused
REALLL. I think his actions in the beginning are true (about him not really that interested to FL) and also not a facade he put up just to get her. So, It was shocking that he kept track of our FL and counted the days they were apart, and even went as creepy as having her picture taken without knowledge, all this during their time apart. I think the author just did a poor job portraying our ML and just mixed everything together of what sounds and looks like "toxic" right in the pot.
