Just to clarify the “make him drink cider” in ch 36.
Sweet potato = if you eat it fast you can choke on it = something frustrating
Cider = in S. Korea this is a sweet lemon lime soda (like Sprite or 7-up) = something refreshing
So he’s saying the character will make people frustrated, so he should make him drink cider to be more refreshing to the audience
