God the uncle pisses me off so much, he literally had no grounds to interrogate/accuse seunghyeon of ANYTHING. All his information he concluded to is from such little evidence oh my fucking god he needs his nose broken im so serious. He has next to no evidence, doesnt know seunghyeon or how chaejun's relationship with him is, and doesn't know how anxiety prone seunghyeon is OR how unstable his nephew really is!!! Like FUCK! OFF!!!
Sure, his heart was in the right place but hes taking it way too far, like dude your nephew is 24 years old, jesus christ
and he told you he DOESNT CARE WHAT "MAY" HAVE HAPPENED IN THE PAST! Leave them alone!
But look what happened! Your precious nephew drove himself into a fucking ditch!
Anything mean i may have thought about the brother, i take it back im sorry. You really were just worried for your brother/lowkey son and can actually take no for an answer and let your brother and his bf be their own people.
God the brother shouldnt get with him holy shit, i dont want them together anymore, bro should get with a different hottie while im gonna get the uncle fucking scalped
Its honestly insane how much of the underlying story with jingi's trauma and the fucked up uncle has been planned from the start... like you start noticing the little things with background characters (how some kids have the dyed hair)
also the flashback of the aunts pov?? I didn't understand the first time reading but now its painfully obvious that the uncle has been using her through jingi to develop all those disgusting photos. Mind you shes BLIND which makes it possible for the uncle to get away with this. And the fact jingi tried to reach out to her for help and (presumably) gave up... makes my heart hurt.
I also don't like how mc's brother sits with the uncles daughter in class.... its obvious that the uncle preys on unfortunate children and i wouldnt be surpised if he uses his daughter to find out which children fits his disgusting criteria . Like how the daughter had a friend who couldnt afford something small at a convenience store or the kid at her house who parents wouldnt let him watch a kids show at home.
istg if ANYTHING happens to those little babies (mc siblings) i am killing everyone in this room and then myself ヽ(`Д´)ノ
honestly yeah, re reading was so worth it cause it also helps you undertsand the things jingi reacts to things in the present. Like how the only times jingi grinds his teeth at night are when hes met/spoke with his uncle or mc brings up the letters.
Its like trigger words for him to remember and have nightmares about his trauma. He says hes past it but its so obvious he isnt, and honestly who wouldnt?
Maybe I'm looking too much into it..... but i swear there is more to the accident than seunghyeon is telling..... like the fact its still being brought up in season 2 and we still have very little details about it.... there has to be more to it theres no wayyyyy
Like my current theory is that chaejun was involved in some way and got his skull split open causing his memory loss and the trauma from witnessing it made seunghyeon forget chaejun from his childhood. Either seunghyeon is splicing different memories together to be what he told chaejun when they got drunk in season 1 OR his memory is omitting key details of chaejuns involvement. Like theres just no way just some fight at an internet cafe has this severe lasting effect on seunghyeon that it follows him into adulthood! And seeing him in that cast AGAIN in season 2 solidifies to me right now!
We have so few panels of it, yet this "incident" keeps getting brought up without much detail!! Just seunghyeons worth of mouth!!! And its obvious HIS memory is unreliable cause he forgot a whole ass person who he seemed decently close with until very recently!!!!
I NEED MORE DETAILS ARRRGRGGG GIVE ME MORE DETAILS!!!!!! ITS BEEN BOTHERING ME FOR WEEKS!!!!!
FUCKING CHEKHOV'S ACCIDENT I SWEAR TO GOD!!!!!(/TДT)/

The fact that it was just one huge circumstantial mistake makes it so much worse and sad to me. Like i wish there was someone to point fingers at but instead it was just many unforseen variables coming together for the worst outcome.
Although it now makes me wonder if Uncle Taewon is trying to blame Seung-hyeon for the incident because he actually doesn't want to acknowledge that he blames himself for going to work sleep deprived and getting severely injured, thus leaving child Chaejun to his own devices.
But the fact none of the workers even considered the fact Chaejun could still be on site lowk pisses me off, because they know damn well Chaejun has always been accompanying Taewon for awhile since his parents are away.
Ugh the poor babies, I hope we get to find out why Seung-hyeon forgot as well. Cause since he never made it to the storage room I wonder what was said or done that made Chaejun like a passing memory.
Current guess rn is that maybe he was told they moved away. Since Taewon said he was finished with the project. Then both him and Chaejun are injured. I wouldn't be surpised if Seung-hyeon was told information that they left and arent coming back.
And we already know Seung-hyeon already has a bad memory when it comes to kids he deemed younger than him that he watched over/mentored. Given by that chapter where a younger kid from his old dojo remembered him while Seung-hyeon did not remember the kid at all, and iirc said he doesn't remember the faces of most of those kids.
So I can see kid Seung-hyeon disappointed in the moment, but he already was naturally accepting when it comes to disappointment thanks to his self esteem issues. So no wonder Chaejun became a passing memory. He probably wouldn't have become one of he didn't get head trauma, promptly forgetting Seung-hyeon, himself.
Literally if Chaejun didn't get injured, he would have most likely sought Seung-hyeon out
╥﹏╥
Also loving the fact that in the present Seung-hyeon is on his way to "redeem" himself. While not an actual redemption cause it was neither his nor Chaejun's fault, this time Seung-hyeon will open the door and save Chaejun like he was supposed to years ago
