It's unfortunate if some details of the marriage ceremony can't be done as you wish for *pat*
But the reason why things don't go as you wish also matters - is there a person who's deciding everything without considering your ideas or even ignoring all of them, that's a problem that might be foreshadowing similar things happening in your future.
So I hope it's not your marriage partner - or your mother-in-law while your partner doesn't stand up for you. At least your partner has to be on your side so that while you make compromises for others they also make compromises for you, ven if te other one is their moter! Otherwise it's way too one-sided and you might lose yourself by trying to fulfill others expectations. If that's the case, you might want to think about going through with the wedding again. I don't know your circumstances but I do know that losing oneself to please others can be dangerous.
I hope it's just temporary that all of your ideas are not considered, I wish you that some of them can be recognized and translate into action. Wish you all the best.
