Honestly, this one really frustrated me and made me annoyed at times. On one hand, yes, its emotional and really well-written, on the other hand, its really convientant that the main female lead decided to forget her daughter told her mother to accept her first loves' feelings and that she'd always be her daughter no matter what, and to live her life freely as she always wanted; and then the FL played with that first loves feelings and even broke his heart. I stopped reading at chapter 32 after the stormy breakup scene because it genuinely made my heart ache so much for the male lead and made me SO angry at the female lead. I understand where she is coming from, but it doesn't excuse the way she treated him and how dirty she did him, and honestly, the tunnel vision on getting her daughter back is lwk ridiclous at some points. YES, she is her child and I understand wanting to get her back, but you have been sent back in time. The second you woke up, THINGS CHANGED. Nothing will be exactly the same as it was becsuse YOU have changed, funadamentally! That is a fact I wish all the FL's in stories like these and others realized. The whole one flap of a butterflies wings causes a storm is a saying for a reason. Accept that and do whatever, its your new life! Who cares about everything else?

dropped at 72, it started off fine, and honestly i only stuck around to see how bad it'd get, but at the point the ml pulled away from the fl during 72 after they finally reunited, i was done. like, girl, at this point, just leave. i dont give a single frick about "oh he has a reason" no, this is stupid. ur stupid. he's literally ruined ur life and gotten you involved in something WAY over ur head and its just ridiclous. i mean, yes, the emperor and princess are bad, but the fl is a WRITER. a famous romance novelist. she should NOT be involved in the overthrowing of a monarchy! holy crap! its just ridiclous at this point and slightly confusing. ohmygod.

Tell me why I just dropped at 72 too. And the sense of time is horrible. All this and I don’t think they’ve even spent more than 48 hours interacting with each other. Are they even officially dating? Is this still a romance manhwa??? I’ve seen way more interaction with the archduke than the actual ml
literally! i also don't particularly favor the fl either, tbh, she's not exactly proving to be "all that" as the archduke and ml seem to believe. everything about this manuwha is just so mediocre,,
