In the beginning, I was rooting for Phil to successfully run away the whole time (well, before she actually managed to run away). Like, that was literally the only thing driving me to continue reading because I was so frustrated about how she was being treated. I'm glad I didn't drop it lmao. This turned out even greater than expected.
Everytime, there's always someone going "people who read this are weirdos", "those who know:☠" and etc. What were YOU doing at the devil's sacrament? You knew the title, you knew what you were coming in for. And don't even lie lmao, I know many of you are subscribed to this. Idk if it's bc y'all think you're "ethically consuming problematic media" or just to shit on this every update— either way, you're even weirder cuz it's not that hard to scroll away. If you actually thought reading this is akin to a crime, you'd have better reported the users or even this entire site lmao. Sit down with your moral performativeness

I wish they would show soleum's corruption in a subtle way! Kinda like in the novel; that part was sooooo perfectly done ╥ ╥,,, I didn't even knew he was corrupted at the beginning!
Bro please spoil me.What coruption?
The corruption I'm talking about is something that, like it's name, "corrupts" the employees. Interacting with "ghost stories" or "darkness" can corrupt a person (although in varying amounts). It can possibly manifest as physical in which this other person doesn't look human anymore or it maybe mental (often, it's both). An example of mental corruption (another novel spoiler) would be something like Kim Soleum growing fonder of Braun and thinking that they're "genuinely friends". An uncorrupted Kim Soleum would not think that as he is a rational coward that knows that Braun is a terrifying non-human that could kill him if Braun simply wishes so. Of course, that's just one of the most subtle example of a mental corruption.
