Basically Cain is going to war with satan for a reason we don’t fully know yet

somehow Cain got shot in the chest with a bullet from and weapon from heaven and it has been draining his power and magic. By going back to hell using his door Gyeong joon (blue hair MC), he could replenish his magic but it wasn’t stoping the bullet from going deeper into his heart.

Sid ( white haired demon) appeared to be Cains trusted right hand man but he is actually a traitor and a spy for satan. Earlier in the series Cain gives Sid a necklace that works as a gps to find people. Cain tells Sid to use this necklace to find the rumored doctor who has stayed in the human world. He wants to find the doc so he can removed the bullet from his chest. But since Sid is a traitor he gives the necklace to that weird pervy blonde demon so he can kill the doctor preventing Cain from being able to heal.

The weird pervy blonde demon kills the doctor and delivers the head to Sid to prove that the doctor is dead not aware that what he killed was a clone not the OG.
Realizing that someone from satans side is after him the doc shows up at Gyeong joon’s (blue hair MC) house to meet with Cain to aid him in the fight against satan, but Sid told Cain that the doctor was dead ( tbh I didn’t understand the conversation between the three that well) but basically Cain found out Sid betrayed him and they started fighting.

Cain puts up a barrier to protect Gyeong joon (blue hair MC) and in the process dies. Sid goes in to finish Cain off but has to flee because Cain starts sucking up all the magic in the area ( this is his bodys response to try to heal).

His attempt at self healing isn’t effect because of the bullet in his heart so the doctor try’s to remove it using Gyeong joon’s (blue hair MC) Soul and an energy source to pull it out. It was a risky procedure since the doctor had never done it before but in the past the doctor also loved his door but his door died so when he saw how heart broken Gyeong joon (blue hair MC) was when Cain dies it reminded him of himself in the past and decides to help. (Cain is technically dead but not in our human sense of dead, his soul entered something like a form of limbo so as far as we as readers are concerned he’s still alive)

During this process Cain and Gyeong joon’s (blue hair MC) consciousness connect to each other and since they were interrupted last time form have steamy love time they decide to go ahead and get it on right there and then (cuz I mean why not, it’s not like they had something better to do)

As the bullet gets closer to being removed Gyeong joon (blue hair MC) soul can’t take the stress and starts to get damaged essentially killing Gyeong joon (blue hair MC) in the process which is why his consciousness fades when he was in the middle of talking to Cain. Cain realizes that if they continue any further then Gyeong joon (blue hair MC) will die and cuts the bullet in half, ending the procedure early. Cain still has half of the bullet in his chest but since he removed half of it some of his power is returned to him.

Cain realizes the by being with Gyeong joon (blue hair MC) he will only put him in danger so he tells the doctor to tell him that Cain abandoned him and that he’s free ( since Cain “died” Gyeong joon (blue hair MC) was released as Cains door). Cain also orders the doctor to protect Gyeong joon (blue hair MC) since it’s likely he will be targeted (Gyeong joon (blue hair MC) doesn’t know this since he thinks he was thrown away by Cain. There whole conversation is interrupted by the demon with the steampunk glasses attacking them to bring their head to satan (don’t forget that the doc the the red hair demon are both considered fugitives) the red haired demon tries to protect everyone with a shield but fails and some of those energy blast get past the sheild.

Luckily for them the little eye ball demon that was used as an bow turned into a bird and saved them. During all this Cain is on a rampage killing tons of demons flooding out from hell and looking for Sid to kill him.

And that’s where we are now, I tried my best to hit all the major plot points but I left out any for the romance stuff. if you have any questions regarding that just ask and I’ll try to answer them
