I really do because, like he said, there's nothing else to do about something that happened 10 years ago but, the thing is that it had a huge impact in his actual life. Seoin is brave enough to face the harsh truth and try to do something about it even if that means that he can't be happy w yeongwoon for once. If he decides to ignore the past, it would mean that he doesn't truly love yeongwoon because (for seoin) to love him is to take care of him.
