A therapist will listen to your troubles and depending on what kind of therapy you chose to go for they will help and teach you ways to cope with your symptoms and in very slow steps coach you to reach your goals. A lot of people here wrote that they are scared of the responsibility of taking care of a disabled person, and I'd like to address that topic: don't think you have to act like a nurse/caretaker or whatever. Of course it depends on what kinda disability someone has, but most people manage just fine without any help of other people and in a relations...... 2 reply
