i bawled a little at "this house made out of cement was the warmest place ive ever had" jeoh really had it rough since he was a child
also idc i actually like han gyeol and the president guy's dynamics. if there will be some kinda side story for them ill gladly read it, but i just know that people are just gonna whine so hard in the comments when, you know, you can just *not* read it
i wasn't even that interested in the whole premise, and kojima was pretty much a jerk but i thought i was just gonna read it to see maybe it got better later but then the rape happened and i had to put it down. the jerk literally raped the guy but guy was like it's okay because i love you! ugh this type of BS plot has to be one of the worst if not the worst. like im not even the most woke person out there, i don't mind when a plot involve some problematic stuff, but when you try to justify it in one way or another that's a different story
i just read this and i don't like where this is going. it's going to end up 'happy' somehow isn't it. somehow guwon wasn't really that bad or something. ig im not cool like that but being with my dad's killer is unthinkable for me. i mean the story could go into darker route where jinwoo just destroy himself in the end because he can't help but be with the guy who kills people like he eats breakfast but this is bl. there's gonna be some justification somehow so that readers can still goon without feeling disturbed
idk why but i was crying so hard reading this. this felt too real, not that ive been in a relationship like this myself but the characters felt too real to me. i don't know why this was rated quite low tho
i think ive seen some people commented about the severe lack of communication, sure but this was portrayed in the best way possible (or rather as real as possible). idk what to tell you but people like these two exist (im definitely one of them) but these two made it work because despite everything they still tried to understand the other person and be considerate even though they're both so awkward with it. like this isn't even the first time ive read about two people having communication issues in manga but this one was good because it wasn't dramatic or silly, just realistic story about two passive(?) people in a relationship who overcame it in the end. it can be frustrating but the good part is that they actually do love each they just need to be better at expressing it (which is something im bad at too)

it's kinda funny seeing some people "sympathizing" with the lady, it's giving contrarian lol. i mean id get it if she was more like an actual bad bitch, but she wasn't. she was doing a lot of things wrong, not just one or two, a lot. what she was doing wasn't *understandable* they were close to being evil, if not actually evil. ofc im also aware that both jeoh and seongrok are far from being innocent either, no need to quote me on that
